It is also close to the popular Cofresí Beach and the Ocean World Interactive Park, where you can swim with dolphins, dive with sea lions or snorkel among coral fish. The park is also home to tigers and tropical birds.

For chocolate lovers, we recommend visiting the nearby Hacienda Chufa family farm, which is engaged in the cultivation and processing of cocoa beans. You can make your organic chocolate there.
District town of Puerto Plata
In the district town of Puerto Plata, it is worth visiting the Museum of Amber, the Brugal Rum Distillery, San Felipe one of the oldest colonial fortresses of the Caribbean, and Isabel de Torres Mountain, where you can climb on foot or take a cable car. In the historic center of the town, you can admire the Victorian houses and narrow streets while breathing in the ancient atmosphere. Cultural performances take place in the La Puntilla amphitheater in Parque Central.
